What is Stanford University Dance Marathon?

Stanford University Dance Marathon is one of the largest and most well-established student-run philanthropies in the nation. Stanford DM is also the largest student-run philanthropic event in the Bay Area. Every year in February, more than 2,000 students dance to raise money for a charitable health-focused organization.

In shortening the length of the 2019 Marathon, from 24 to 12 hours, we are hoping to see both student participation and the amount raised for our beneficiary, the Children’s Fund at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, skyrocket!
